Gearing is super important on fixed gears, you need to find a compromise that works for you. You don’t want to spin out going down the hills, but you need to be able to get back up the other side as well.

In our opinion these are THE best lock for use around town.
The small size and hardened steel means you can chuck it in your back pocket or u-lock holder and forget about it, yet when it comes time to lock your bike, you can rest assured it will be there when you get back.
If you plan on leaving the bike locked up for a longer period of time a good idea is to couple up your u-lock with a Kryptonite cable to secure your wheels.
Another good tip is to lock your bike at the head tube, as pictured. This helps prevent the bike from swinging round on the pole or falling over.

With great expectations, several large Rapha boxes were wheeled in-store this afternoon. Each one lovingly packed by Rapha HQ in London.
