Buying Tips

Despite a limited market and a tendency to gravitate towards chromo builds, there’s no reason why you can’t aim for the sky when it comes to building your perfect fixie.

The most important aspect of building a fixie is of course the colour coding. Or maybe its the gearing. This will probably depend upon whether you are going riding at Bondi or National Park.

If you decide it is the colour coding we recommend black and white, but can help you with anything inbetween. If it is the gearing then it is all about compromise: a gear that keeps you rolling on the flat, might end up too big once you hit traffic, or when you eventually climb out of Bondi.

Ask our staff for more information when getting down to the nitty gritty of fix pushing.
